The Disney Parks Blog has just shared a look at some of the concept art and progress on their newest Cay–Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. This new location on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas will soon welcome guests in June 2024.
Disney is basing their theming on the idea of “a celebration of Bahamian storytelling, artistry and culture.”
Here are some of the upcoming points of interest
Mabrika Cove.

This is the arrival point for guests at the Cay.
The word Marbrika means “welcome” in Taina, the no longer used language of the Lucayans, who are the indigenous people of The Bahamas.
Goombay Cultural Center

What is Goombay?
Goombay is a traditional music style in The Bahamas that involves singing, dancing and drumming.
The Goombay Cultural Center is meant to “embody the essence of “Junkanoo,” a Bahamian festival filled with joyous music and vibrant parades that will come to life in many ways across Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.”
It will be a cultural-themed pavilion adorned with bright colors and patterns that represent the traditions of The Bahamas.
Other locations will include:
Triton’s Trumpet Stage
This location’s name is inspired by the large, spiral seashells often found in the area nicknamed “Triton’s Trumpet.”
Treasures of Eleuthera
Treasures of Eleuthera is a retail shop filled with locally made artisan crafts and gifts spotlighting Bahamian artists and traditions.
Serenity Bay
Serenity Bay is the adults-only area on the island. This section is for those 18 and older. There will also be a dining area and cabanas for rent.

Those sailing on the June 6, three-night preview cruise on the Disney Magic leaving from Fort Lauderdale and those on the seven-night cruise on the Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral, Florida on June 8 will be the first to visit Lighthouse Point.
Disney Magic out of Fort Lauderdale will be visiting the new Cay often.
