Some shows in development are not moving forward for Disney+. The cuts are hitting and include the previously announced “Witch Mountain” revival by Bryce Dallas Howard and two shows from Ron Moore who has left to go to Sony.

It’s especially disappointing about “The Society of Explorers and Adventurers” as Disney doubled down on that one when they redid “The Jungle Cruise” attraction at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Putting Alberta Falls in charge of the Jungle Navigation Company. Previously her grandfather Albert Falls led the company and was a known member of (S.E.A.) along with several other characters spread across Disney theme parks.

The final show that we now know is canceled is the “Witch Mountain” revival show by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Announced in 2022, the show was going to turn reinvent the franchise as a Disney+ series. However, recently Collider interviewed Bryce Dallas Howard at Fan Expo Canada. During that interview Howard told Maggie Lovitt that the show was no longer moving forward.

It’s not happening, which is disappointing. It was a really great groove, and we really all enjoyed shooting it here in Toronto. Some things make it, and some things don’t, and that’s the unfortunate truth of this industry.”

While we know Bob Iger did say that the company was making cuts to streaming shows, we did not yet know which ones, but now there are three that are not apparently moving forward.
