Today is May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, and in honor of that Disney has released the new Droid Depot App for Android and iOS devices today.

The free app will add more “experiences” if you have a droid that you made at the Droid Depot at Galaxy’s Edge. Now you can choreograph a “dance” using various movements that are set to songs from a Star Wars cantina. You can also play games and design droids.
There are four experiences with the app:
Under the Piloting feature you can control the droid like you would with the physical control
You can play Tic-Tac-Toe against your droid under the Strategy feature.
If you visit Maneuvering you can listen to songs by DJ R3X and customize a dance on your droid. You can drop different moves onto a timeline and then have the droid run through the sequence. This is probably the most engaging app.”
Droid Builder allows you to make a virtual droid, so you don’t have to have one from the Droid Depot.
If you would like to buy a droid you can still do so on ShopDisney.com as Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is closed.
