Disney Releases Updated Information For College Program Participants

Yesterday Disney sent out notices to participants in the Disney College Program that they were to stop work immediately and telling them they needed to be out of Disney housing by Wednesday, March 18th by 11AM.

Of course this created a lot of confusion for these individuals as some might not be able to get home due to the Coronavirus.

Today Disney has released updated information:

The letter indicates that if you can’t get home due to a “specific situation” to see a Cast Member at the Disney Service Center. Disney made it clear that they will not be leaving their College Program participants without a place to stay stating “…no one will be without accommodations.”

If they would like to return there is a survey they can fill out and Disney “..will reach out to participants that express interest once we have additional information.”

I know a lot of participants are disappointed and I don’t blame them, but I think Disney had to do this because of requirement with dormitory type housing and virus regulations.
