Disney / Pixar Animator Bolhem Bouchib Sentenced To 25 Years In Prison For Sex Crimes

A Disney / Pixar and Dreamworks Animation key animator who worked for years at the studios has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sex crimes against young girls. The charges included “complicity in repeated rapes and sexual assaults on minors, human trafficking, and child pornography offenses.”

All his “offenses” were alleged to have occurred between 2012 and 2021 while he lived in France and the United States.

Bolhem Bouchib, 59, was placed on France’s sex offender registry in 2014 after sexually assaulting his partner’s eight-year-old daughter. He was later arrested in 2021 and has remained in prison since his arrest.

Somehow Bouchib continued to work for American animation studios.

Bouchib worked on big hits like “Hercules,” “Lilo and Stitch,” “Ratatouille,” “Up,” and “The Incredibles” before he was added to the sex offender registry. However, he continued to work on Disney and Pixar films, including “Soul,” “Incredibles 2,” “Luca,” and “Elemental” after he was on the registry for years.

What did Bolhem Bouchib do?

He reportedly arranged for the rape and torture of young girls in the Philipines. Ages ranged between two and fifteen years.

According to reports, he “ordered the adults, often poverty-stricken mothers, relatives or neighbors,” to torture young girls. Sometimes, paying up to $1,000 per live stream.

Le Monde, posted this information about his crimes. (Translated)

The 59-year-old man had been on trial since Tuesday for having, between 2012 and 2021, paid Filipino women to rape and sexually assault Filipino girls, aged 5 to 10, and at least once a 2-year-old girl, in front of a webcam through live streaming . On the other side of the screen, the accused gave orders, which he himself described as “horrible” and “disgusting,” and masturbated.”

The details are much worse, but I will not post more in this article. If you want to know more, you can read the Le Monde article.

When you read how barbaric it is, you will question how this man was allowed to work on projects for Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks when he had a prior record and was on France’s sex offender registry.

I think Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks may need to explain why they didn’t conduct background checks.

If you have never been caught, your check will be clean. However, he was caught and was on a registry, yet he was working on Disney and Pixar films.

Not a good look!
