Disney is trying to gain some leverage on social media by mimicking the popular FNAF “Five Nights at Freddy’s” by using the “phone guy” and “security footage” to promote the Disney attraction.
This is clearly an attempt to take something from the popular video game and use it to promote Disney’s attraction.
It’s kind of weird seeing a horror-themed game/film overlay on the Country Bear Jamoboree. Honestly, “it’s a small world” would have been more effective. Those dolls creep people out, and they even have to get haircuts when their hair grows.
Disney does make sure to specify that their “audio animatronic figures are really friendly, but the buffalo and moose might roast you.”
Such a surprising juxtaposition.
Check it out.

Many Disney fans are surprised to see the obvious reference being used by Disney, but they are here for it!
“DISNEY PARKS making a FNAF REFERENCE???? CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? – robbie
“is… is this even…ALLOWED” – jay/virgil
“Disney doing a FNAF inspired video?!?!?!? I thought I’d never see the day” – Jera
“fnaf x country bear jamboree???” – Evie
“A DISNEY FNAF VIDEO?! WHAT TIMELINE IS THIS ?!” – mia
“Is this allowed?” – Ninj
“Not the official Disney Parks account!!!” – grigoribeardsputin
“your social manager needs a raise STAT” – Zoe Irene
“Not Disney using their competitors’ secession to promote your own stuff” – Zack
It is interesting to see Disney using FNAF references as the films are distributed via Universal (owned by Comcast, which owns Universal Studios Orlando).
