When I was younger, Disney On Ice only came around once a year, and there was just one theme. I got to see the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs version, which was pretty impressive considering how cumbersome the Dwarf costumes were. Oh, and there was no Magic Mirror. Instead, it was a weird sentient mound of ice with eyes and a mouth.

A few years ago, my kid went to the Frozen Disney On Ice show … and came home with a bunch of light-up wands. It’s nice to see that the whole ice show thing is still going strong.

So, if it’s your first time seeing Disney On Ice, expect a lot of vendors and a lot of sugary food. It’s like being at the circus if it were owned and operated solely by the Walt Disney Company!
