Disney Moves a Few Release Dates For Films 2024/2025 and Removes Two From Schedule

Disney has just announced that some films will have been shifted in the release schedule, likely due to the Hollywood strikes. It’s also possible they are trying to rework some films as well (looking at you, “Snow White.”)

Disney’s Snow White was supposed to release on March 22, 2024, but it has been pushed back a year to March 21, 2025. Disney announced this with a look at Rachel Zegler as Snow White. She is shown with seven dwarfs instead of the “magical creatures” that have been teased.  Given that they are CGI I do have to wonder if they are pushing the film back to fix the “magical creature” issue. But why not just hire those with dwarfism to begin with?

Another untitled Disney film that had the March 21, 2025 date is off the schedule completely.

An untitled Pixar film that was to release on June 13, 2025 has now also been removed from the schedule.

It’s unclear where this leaves other films and live-action remakes moving forward.
