How do you continue to get record profits and increased spending per guest when attendance is down? Easy, you just raise the prices on everything so the ones that you have left pay you more. That is what Disney has just done with announcements for price increases across tickets, parking, Lightning Lane, and more.
Here is what got jacked up.
Theme Park Tickets
With the dates released for November and December 2026, theme park tickets have seen the higher end increase $5-$10.
Honestly, it could be worse, but it still adds up for families. But the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios can now be over $200 per ticket / per day!
The new range for theme park pricing is as follows through December 2026.
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: remains at $25
- EPCOT is up $5 at the high end for a range of $139 – $199.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios is up $5 with a range of $149 – $204.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom is up $5 with a new range of $119 – $184.
Lighting Lane Price Increases

You pay more for tickets, but if you actually want to ride attractions, you can pay even more with Disney’s Lightning Lane or Individual Attraction passes.
Now those already pricey add-ons cost even more, with the maximum prices increasing up to $6 per pass!
Lightning Lane Multi Pass
- Magic Kingdom can now reach $45, up from $39.
- EPCOT can now hit $37 maximum, up from $32.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios will peak at $39. It was $35.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom can now go as high as $35, up from $29.
Lightning Lane Single Pass
- This comes after the announcement of increased Disney+ and streaming costs too.
- Avatar Flight of Passage is now $19, up $1.
- TRON Lightcycle Run is now $23, up $1.
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is now $15, up $1.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is now $22, up $3.
Parking Price Hikes
Two types of parking have increased $5!
Standard parking is up to $35. It was $30.
Oversized vehicle parking is now $40, up from $35.
Food has increased as well!

According to WDWNT, food and beverage prices have also been jacked up!
They said that a lot of food has been raised by .50 and cited Mickey pretzels going from $7.99 – $8.49, and a Dole Whip increasing from $5.49 to $5.79 as examples.
Popcorn in a standard bucket jumped up $1.29, and refills increased .30.
Bottled drinks have increased by .21-.25 each.
All of this adds up. Let’s say you go to the park on a busy day. Right away, it’s $10 more per person ($40 more for a family of 4 and then extra tax). You need a Lightning Lane pass to ride attractions, and that costs $6 more per person ($24 more), and then you have food price increases. $64-$70 more per day, and then multiply that by a few days, and guests are paying hundreds more.
They have to pay for all these theatrical flops, high executive salaries, lawsuits, new attractions, and offset lower attendance somehow.
This comes after the announcement of increased Disney+ and streaming costs, too.
People are already strapped. This might not go the way Disney thinks.
