Disney is Surveying Guests About a Third Disney Dining Plan Option

If you are planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, two dining plan options are available, but that may soon change. A new guest survey has been going out asking guests about their interest in a possible third Disney Dining Plan option.

This news comes from Touring Plans. They were sent information from someone who received the survey.

Currently guests can choose one of two dining plans,

Quick Service – 2 quick service meals, and one snack a day for guests 3 and up. It also includes the refillable resort mug.
The Disney Dining Plan – 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal, and one snack each day for guests 3 and up, plus the refillable resort mug.

Guests are being surveyed about a third dining plan option

According to Touring Plans, their source said they were asked 11 questions about these new names and the name for this new third option.

“The survey asked a series of questions about new Disney Dining Plan names. More specifically, there were three plans – with new names – and our Liner got 11 questions just about how they felt about the names.”

From this graphic we can see that this option changed the names from Quick Service to “On-the-Go Dining Plan”, and the Disney Dining Plan to the “Essentials Dining Plan” with a third option called the “Ultimate Dining Plan” added.

This third option features 2 table service meals, 1 quick service meal, 1 snack, and one resort refillable mug.

Another graphic kept the Quick Service Dining Plan name and used the “Table-Service Dining Plan” name for the “Disney Dining Plan.”

The third option in this graphic was called the “Deluxe Dining Plan.” Which was what Disney called the “Table-Service Plan” back before they stopped the dining plans for the Pandemic.

How much will they upcharge for that one?

I think my exact thought was “What unGodly amount will they charge for that?”
My second thought was “2 table service meals and a quick service meal will literally eat up a huge part of your day” followed by “That much food! In the Florida heat?”

No matter what, I’m betting the prices go up, even if they don’t change the names or add the third option.

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
