Disney has just released some new Disney 100 Anniversary merchandise including as set of 12″ Mickey and Minnie Mouse dolls for about $200. This isn’t too terrible for collector dolls, except they look kind of creepy, in an uncanny valley kind of way.

I like the idea in theory, but the dolls just look really weird to me. I think it’s because they look like 12″ dolls in Mickey and Minnie costumes and not Mickey and Minnie. If you think about it that way, it makes sense.
