Disney+ Has Two Arendelle Castle Yule Log Videos For The Holidays

Disney is offering holiday ambiance videos featuring “Frozen.” One Yule video features the Arendelle Castle Yule Log. Another showcases Anna and Elsa as paper cutouts with a Yule log. Like they did for Halloween with the two Haunted Mansion videos.

These are both older videos, one from 2020 and one from 2021. So, you may have already watched them, but I thought others might be interested in them for the upcoming holiday season.

The Arendelle Castle Yule Log video is available now on Disney+.

For your holiday celebrations, set the wintery mood with Anna and Elsa’s Arendelle Castle yule log. The castle is newly decorated this year with elements harkening back to Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven’s recent journey to the Enchanted Forest. Happy Holidays from Arendelle!

The video is a crackling fire with little nods to “Frozen” films.

Occasionally, Olaf laughs and runs through the frame.

The video is three hours long and is dated 2020.

Arendelle Castle Yule Log Cut Paper Edition

This one features “stylized cut-out paper” elements.

The cut paper yule log video is also three hours long and is from 2021.

Hand-crafted from paper art by Brittney Lee, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ acclaimed visual development artist on “Frozen” and “Frozen 2,” this warm and inviting hearthside scene sets a festive holiday mood. Stylized cut-out paper flames combine with imaginative visual effects (including a touch of snow provided by Elsa) and silhouetted images of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven to add to your holiday fun and enjoyment.”

I like this one because it’s interesting to watch the cut paper fire change and “burn” in the video. It’s definitely something a bit different to watch.

What do you think? Which Yule log video is your favorite? The animated Arendelle fire with Olaf or the cut paper version?
