When I think the word ‘streetwear’ I think of edgy, fashion forward, visually exciting and dynamic choices. When Disney thinks about streetwear they think about Grogu from ‘The Mandalorian.’ I just don’t get “streetwear” from Baby Yoda.
Well the Disney Parks Blog has announced the new line of clothing coming February 1 to Shop Disney, North American Disney Stores, and Walt Disney World. Downtown Disney in Disneyland will get the line later on next month.
Here’s the tweet:
This is the way. Check out the all-new streetwear collection inspired by the Child and coming to @shopDisney, Disney stores and select Disney Parks next month! https://t.co/6kp8eyFqFt pic.twitter.com/exjy8kbGrC

They are cute for sure. As soon as you slap Grogu on something it usually becomes cute. It’s like peanut butter and pickles. Some people love it and some people don’t. But they are something you don’t normally see together.
Here’s a look at some of the pieces:

“The collection honors the iconography established in “The Mandalorian”- all of the script featured on the apparel is in Mando’a – and highlights how the Child is a valuable asset to many in the galaxy.”
What are the Instagram hashtags for this one?
The pieces are definitely cute! I just don’t know how it’s going to go over with everyone besides the Disney “moms” and “influencers.”
