Disney has offered us a first look at their upcoming Chip ‘n’ Dale show for their Disney+ Streaming Service.
During the Annecy International Animation Festival in Annecy France, Disney announced a reboot of the ever popular furry duo–Chip ‘n’ Dale.
The new series will be 39, seven minute long episodes, featuring the trials and tribulations of life for these two chipmunks in the city.
This new show will be developed in France and London in co-production with Xilam, a Paris based company behind shows like Mr. Magoo and Paprika.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. It definitely fits with the new Mickey Mouse shorts style, but I’m still not sold on it yet. Although Dale’s expression almost has me on board.
Hopefully it will be good.
Only time will tell. The Disney+ Streaming service will launch in November, but I don’t believe there’s a date yet for the new Chip ‘n’ Dale show.
