Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is opening Memorial Day Weekend, or is it? That’s the question. A little bit ago Disney’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Geoff Morrel, posted a tweet indicating just that and then he deleted it.
Luckily, there is a copy of the tweet from Blog Mickey!
It says:
“Just another day at the office–got to “test ride” the new @Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster @EpcotCentre. @WaltDisneyCo Imagineers designed this one like no other ride you’ve ever been on. Have to ride it to believe it! Check it out starting Memorial Day weekend.”
Someone needs to tell their own guy how to spell EPCOT.
People are wondering if it is actually opening then or if that could be a “Passholder preview” or something else. Or it could just be that it was to be announced in a much grander way.
Who knows. But an official announcement will likely come soon if it is indeed the case. Memorial Day Weekend is a time that big attractions are often unveiled, but it’s technically not “Summer” officially. So we shall see what happens.
