Disney Employees Can Reportedly Return To Office Work After Independence Day

Deadline is reporting that Disney’s United States employees can return to their offices after July 4th.

Disney employees were apparently notified of this information via an “internal company video” today.

This follows news that they expect President Biden to relax travel restrictions by Mid-May.

According to CNBC:
The Biden administration is looking toward the middle May to relax restrictions on travel across the borders with Mexico and Canada and on inbound international travel from the U.K., Europe and Brazil, according to two sources familiar with the matter. ”

I’m surprised they aren’t bring employees back in before people from other countries will be allowed to come in, but I guess they are allowing a bit more time for vaccines to take effect.

WarnerMedia had announced last week that their employees could return to their offices in early September, so they are having their people wait a bit longer.

I guess it’s good news for those who are wanting to return to a physical location. For many it will probably be nice to be around their coworkers and friends again.
