It’s almost here! The latest update to Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to launch in just a few days! Are you ready for A Rift in Time?
Starting next week on December 5th, fans of the life sim game can journey to Eternity Isle. There are three new Biomes to explore: Ancient’s Landing, Glittering Dunes, and Wild Tangle. The new locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time are packed with unique items, plants, fruits, vegetables, and creatures!
Also included in the update are new items for the magical toolbox. These include the Royal Hourglass. Its functionality isn’t explicitly explained, but it is said to “empower you with a new form of magic that’s bound to help you overcome obstacles, hunt for treasure, and even craft new objects!”
A new character will be joining in on the fun! EVE from PIXAR’s WALL·E will need to be wooed because she’s the keeper of the Royal Hourglass.
New crafting options will be available, too! On Eternity Isle, you can upgrade the Royal Hourglass and find more efficient ways to cook and garden.
Scramblecoin, a board game you can play with your Villagers, is being added with this update. Crafting is incorporated into this addition, allowing you to build unique game pieces.
Dreamlight Valley is available on several platforms: Steam, XBOX, Playstation, etc. Unlike Speedstorm, this Disney title is not free-to-play. You’ll need to pay $29.99 for the basic version and quite a bit more for the Deluxe and Ultimate editions. However, those two are currently on sale over at the Steam store.
