Disney+ Day Brings New Content to the Streaming Service Nov 12

The Walt Disney Company has set a date to celebrate their fans and subscribers. Celebrate Disney+ Day on November 12!

The global celebration will appear in various ways across the company. Disney+ subscribers will get access to new content from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. There will even be a few sneak peeks at upcoming works. 

Disney+ Day will offer subscribers special promotions and experiences. Disney Parks and Resorts across the globe and Disney Cruise Line will “roll out the blue carpet” for fans to experience photo opportunities and character moments.

CFO, Bob Chapek, said of the celebration, “This day of celebration brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytellings, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.”

Disney+ Day Streaming Releases!

The official Disney fan club, D23, listed these titles as becoming available for subscribers on Nov. 12:

  • Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings
  • Jungle Cruise, available to all subscribers
  • The new Disney+ Original movie Home Sweet Home Alone
  • An all-new original series of shorts called Olaf Presents, which sees the snowman retelling classic Disney tales
  • The domestic Disney+ streaming debut of fan favorite shorts including Frozen Fever, and Oscar®-winning shorts Feast and Paperman
  • A Luca animated short called Ciao Alberto
  • A new short from The Simpsons
  • The first five episodes from season two of The World According to Jeff Goldblum from National Geographic
  • A special celebrating the origins and legacy of Star Wars’ legendary bounty hunter, Boba Fett
  • Dopesick, an original series starring Michael Keaton, which will be released in international markets as part of the Star general entertainment content offering
  • A special celebrating the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+ with an exciting look towards the future!

In addition to these exciting releases to the streaming platform, subscribers will also  get breaking news, first looks, and new trailers. 

Disney+ Day will also serve as the streaming service’s launch day in South Korea and Taiwan. The platform will also launch in Hong Kong on November 16. 

There’s sure to be a lot of exciting content coming Nov 12!
