Disney Cruise Ship Treasure is Coming to Port Canaveral This December!

Disney’s Treasure cruise ship will be arriving in Florida next month! The 1,256-stateroom luxury liner will have its very first stop in Port Canaveral, but it will be a very pricey voyage!

Thanks to Space Coast Daily, we learned about the Treasure debuting at Port Canaveral on December 21st, 2024. The first destination, the newest addition to Disney’s fleet, will be a 7-night excursion to the Caribbean.

But, Mr. Phalin, how much will it cost me to ride aboard Disney’s sea-faring vessel? I’m glad you asked, Jimmy. If you wanted the State Room, that could cost you about $97k!

However, if you’re an intelligent traveler like myself, you could board the Treasure for as little as $4,070 on a trip to the Western Caribbean.

Treasure offers a lot of the same stuff you’ll find on Disney cruise lines, except for a notable addition that we Haunted Mansion fans welcome. Previously, we had covered the excellent “first-ever” Haunted Mansion bar that would be aboard the Disney Treasure. In addition to offering frightful cocktails, the Treasure cruise ship would have a few unique pieces of Haunted Mansion merchandise.

Although the Galactic Starcruiser may be defunct, you can still experience some Star Wars thrills aboard the Treasure. The Cargo Bay, located in Disney’s Ocearneer Club, lets you help the Resistance … with Rey and Chewy:

Encounter a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Cargo Bay in Disney’s Oceaneer Club. Step aboard a starship prepping for a mission to aid the Resistance and join forces with Star Wars friends like Chewbacca and Rey. Plus, become the crew’s newest exotic-creature handler and wrangle exciting animals like Porgs, Loth-Cats, a Dianoga and more.

I’ve not been on a Disney cruise; plenty of my family has. My brother called it the most expensive daycare he has ever paid for. That’s a good thing if you’re a fan of Disney but not kids.
