Disney Craft-Make Your Own Disney Treat Magnets!

We here at PNP whipped up a fun craft you and your family can do–Plus, it’s useful too!

Disney Treat Magnets

There are three patterns you can make: Mickey Candy Apple, Dole Whip and Mickey Ice Cream Bar. It’s a very easy, cut and glue craft.

Materials:

  • Craft Foam (You could also use heavier paper or card stock)
  • Scissors
  • Craft Glue (Elmers will work as well)
  • Magnets
  • Hot Glue
  • Printed Template
  • Tape

First you will want to print out the template. You can find that Disney_Magnet_Craft.

To craft the Mickey Mouse Candy Apple:

Use dark brown, red, yellow and white craft foam.

Make a tape donut and tape down the pattern pieces and cut around them.

Glue the pieces together.

To craft the Dole Whip Magnet:

Use yellow, red and white craft foam.

Make a tape donut and tape down the pattern pieces. Cut them out.

Glue the pieces together following the drawing on the main piece.

Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar:

Use dark brown, white and tan craft foam.

Make tape donuts and stick the pattern pieces down and cut them out.

Then glue the pieces together.

Once the glue is dry you can attach magnets to the back either by using sticker magnets or hot glueing on magnets.

When they are finished you can put them on your refrigerator or other metal surface!

I hope you enjoy this quick little craft I whipped up for you.  I wanted something that could appeal to multiple skill levels and age ranges.  Of course parental guidance is strongly suggested for any craft involving scissors and possibly hot glue.
