Disney Announces Thomas Mazloum As the New Chairman of Disney Experiences and Jill Estorino as Disneyland’s President

Disney has announced two key leadership appointments, including new roles for Thomas Mazloum and Jill Estorino.

Thomas Mazloum Named Chairman of Disney Experiences

As part of the announcement, Thomas Mazloum will succeed D’Amaro as Chairman of Disney Experiences. In this role, Mazloum will oversee Disney’s global businesses, including the company’s theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, expeditions and adventures, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative division responsible for designing Disney attractions and experiences.

Mazloum has held several senior leadership positions at Walt Disney World Resort. He was later named President of Disney Signature Experiences, where he developed a long-term strategy to expand the Disney Cruise Line fleet. That plan included a significant growth initiative that doubled the size of the fleet.

One of the key milestones during that expansion was the launch of Disney Adventure, the cruise line’s eighth ship and its first vessel homeported in Asia, based in Singapore. The move marked a major step into new international markets.

Most recently, Mazloum served as President of Disneyland Resort, overseeing Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, three resort hotels, and the Downtown Disney District, including operations during the resort’s 70th anniversary celebration.

D’Amaro praised Mazloum’s leadership and connection to Disney’s culture.

“Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth. His focus on service excellence, broad international leadership, and strong connection to the creativity that brings our stories to life make him the right leader to guide Disney Experiences into its next chapter.”

Jill Estorino Appointed President of Disneyland Resort

Jill Estorino has been named President of Disneyland Resort, replacing Mazloum.

Estorino brings more than 35 years of experience with The Walt Disney Company. Throughout her career, she has held numerous leadership roles across the parks and experiences division.

Earlier in her career, Estorino served as Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, where she helped support the launch of Shanghai Disney Resort.

Most recently, she served as President of Disney Parks International, overseeing the operations, expansion, and development of Disney’s international resorts. Her portfolio included Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort, which is operated in partnership with the Oriental Land Company.

In her new role, Estorino will guide Disneyland Resort through its next phase of development while maintaining the guest-focused culture that has defined the resort since its opening in 1955.

Her leadership approach emphasizes brand stewardship, strong connections with cast members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Disney said Estorino’s international experience and long history with the company position her well to lead Disneyland into its next chapter of growth.

Estorino will be replaced by Tasia Filippatos.

Filippatos will be replaced by Lisa Baldzicki in the role of President, Disney Consumer Products.
