Disney is honoring Walt Disney’s birthday on December 5, by making this the date guests will finally be allowed to visit the new Dreamers Point and World Celebration Gardens.
This is one section of the walled off construction areas in EPCOT that will finally be reopened. The highlight is the statue of Walt Disney called “Walt the Dreamer.” Representing “Walt later in his life when he was dreaming up the overall Florida Project and the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. He sits with a sense of fulfillment, enjoying the beauty of his realized dream: a park that represents pure optimism and truly celebrates the magic of possibility.”

The area features elements based on the “architectural legacy of EPCOT.”
