Deadpool & Wolverine Line About Mickey’s Dickey Was Removed From Final Script

If you have seen “Deadpool & Wolverine,” you know it earned its “R” rating, and many of the jokes were quite adult. Disney allowed a lot to pass through, but one joke involving Mickey Mouse’s junk was changed to Pinocchio for the final filming.

Shawn Levy even teased that a line was removed from the film but wouldn’t say what the line was. He told EW.

There was only one line in the entire movie that we were asked to change. We have made a pact, Ryan and I, to go to our grave with that line, but I will say that it was replaced with an equally dirty line of dialogue about Pinocchio shoving his face up Deadpool’s ass and starting to lie like crazy. I was like, ‘Ryan, that’s your replacement line in response to, ‘Can we clean it up?’ That’s Ryan Reynolds for you, audacious to the very edge.

Now we know what the original Mickey Mouse joke was.

The official script containing the original joke that happens after Deadpool learns that Magneto is dead has been leaked. In the original, he says, “F*CK! What. We can’t even afford one more X-man? Disney is so cheap. I can barely breathe with all this Mickey Mouse c*ck in my throat.”

I can see why Disney thought it was going too far, given Mickey Mouse is their actual brand mascot.

The joke was replaced with an arguably funnier bit where Deadpool says,

Now Disney gets cheap! It’s like Pinocchio jammed his face in my a$$ and started lying like crazy.”

Many on X feel that Disney made the right move as the Pinocchio joke was better,

I wondered how they got away with so much, but apparently, there was a line. Still a great movie either way!
