I have great news for fellow Netflix ‘Daredevil’ fans! It seems that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Matt Murdock/ Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin in the upcoming ‘Echo’ series.
It really isn’t surprising given that Echo was a Daredevil spin off and we already saw Kingpin in the ‘Hawkeye’ show that Echo is coming from in the MCU.
Netflix had done several shows in conjunction with Marvel, including Daredevil as well as: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher and the Defenders. Daredevil was first and had three seasons from 2015-18. The show was incredibly popular and the duo has been a popular fan request.
A new ‘Daredevil’ series is in the works, but ‘Echo’ will give us something to start with.
Hopefully we get a good show when ‘Daredevil’ does return and Marvel sticks close to what Netflix has already done. Frankly, I don’t trust them not to mess it up.
