D23 News: Epcot’s New Nighttime Show Will Be Called ‘Harmonious’

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is ending and will be replaced with the temporary show Epcot Forever.

Today at D23, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek has announced that the show to follow Epcot Forever will be called HarmonioUS.

I’m not liking the name all that much to be honest and that ‘US’ at the end is a bit strange. Just having to write the “US” kind of makes it feel like it’s trying too hard.

After Illuminations: Reflections of Earth ends, we will get the Epcot Forever show for a bit then it will be the HarmonioUS show. This new show is the largest ever nighttime show created for a Disney park.

Featuring floating sets, fountains, fireworks, lasers and more, this show will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over.”

I’m really looking forward to the Epcot Forever, not really sure yet about HarmonioUS. Hearing a bit of the music from both, I like the Epcot Forever more, but it’s really early to form that opinion.

This new show will debut in World Showcase Lagoon 2020 (most likely summer.) We will have to wait and see what else we can learn till then.
