Haunted Mansion Bride Madame Leota's Somewhere Beyond Haunted Mansion Store

Could This Be the Rumored New Bride For The Haunted Mansion In Disneyland?

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion has been under renovation lately, with new queue elements and a new store called “Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond.” Rumored changes coming to the attraction are updated Hitchhiking Ghost effects at the end of the attraction and a new version of Constance Hatchaway, aka, The Haunted Mansion Bride.

With the opening of the new “Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond” store, guests have noticed an image of a bride that is definitely different from the one currently at the mansion.

Disney Parks released some images and X user Drew Smith noticed the bride image.

The bride is pictured with a candelabra like the one in the endless hallway and a black cat.

It’s also rumored that if a new bride is added, she will also have a beating heart.

Another user quickly noticed the resemblance to this piece by Marc Davis.

The changes have all been rumored, but many suspect they will indeed change the attic bride. But nothing has been confirmed.

It does seem strange to add a bride character in a prominent location of the store if she isn’t in the attraction, so my guess is that the rumors are true.

Right now, Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion is running with the Nightmare Before Christmas Holiday overlay, but on January 7th, it will close for refurbishment and reportedly will not reopen until January 18, 2025.

Many Haunted Mansion fans are worried about the changes, especially the upgrades to the Hitchhiking Ghosts effects. Disneyland still uses the older version, while Walt Disney World switched to projections years ago. Personally, I agree with fans on this one. It would be sad to lose one of the attraction’s original effects. But that is my opinion.

We will probably see the extent of the changes after the attraction reopens next month.

Are you excited? Do you like this concept for the Haunted Mansion Bride, or do you prefer the current or older versions?
