Closing Dates for Muppet Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, And Mama Melrose Have Been Announced

Like it or not, the new Monster Inc. Land is coming, and it’s coming fast. Disney has just announced today the closing dates for the three attractions that are still open in the area including the Muppet Vision 3D show.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Grand Avenue will shut down in phases, much like Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom staring in May 2025.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will shut down at the end of the day on May 10. This is sad to me because our family enjoyed going there.

What is replacing the Muppets?

A new Monsters Inc. land is coming in to replace the Muppet Courtyard. There will be a new E-ticket attraction that Disney will surely find a way to upcharge for.

Where are the Muppet’s going?

The Muppets are not leaving Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but they are being moved to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction on Sunset Boulevard.

At this time, there is no word on when the current version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with Aerosmith will shut down to be rethemed to the Muppets.

If you want to visit Mama Melrose, PizzeRizzo, or Muppet Vision 3D, you need to get your butt to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the next few months.
