Disney has just released concept art showcasing a make-over they have scheduled for Cinderella Castle.
The work is scheduled to start soon and run through summer of this year.
I’m sure this is due to the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World happening next year in 2021.
The concept art shows that the castle will receive gold trim along with the upper part of the castle getting a pink colored wash on it.
It could be due to the artist rendition, but the blues seem richer as well.

This will match the recent gold that has been added to the statue of Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney in front.
It’s quite pretty actually. I look forward to seeing it!
Here’s the castle now for comparison:

The shows involving the castle like “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” and “Happily Ever After” will continue during this process.
