Great Scott! Well known actor Christopher Lloyd traveling to a galaxy far far away as he joins the cast of the popular The Mandalorian television series on Disney Plus for its third season.
The veteran actor is very popular in the science fiction genre. His most famous role is arguable as Doctor Emmett Brown in the popular Back to the Future Trilogy which lasted from 1985 – 1990. He also played the Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in 1984. Other popular roles for the actor include 1975’s One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, 1988’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit and as Uncle Fester in the Duology of The Adams Family films in 1991 and 1993
He is also well known for multiple roles in television such as the long running series Taxi from 1978 – 1983, the Back to the Future: The Animated Series 1991- 1992 and Deadly Games from 1995 – 1996.
Beyond that he has a resume in voice acting, voicing in shows like Over the Garden Wall in 2014 and the long running Cysberchase series from 2002 – today. He also voiced in films like 1994’s The Pagemaster, 1997’s Anastasia and… 2012’s Foodfight!
The 83 year old actor’s role has not been specifically announced as it is being kept under lock and key, but it is being described as a sort of guest role in a single episode.
The series’ third season is currently filming in Southern California, close by to Hollywood where multiple big names could also have the chance of appearing. Actor Michael Biehn, known for 1984’s The Terminator and 1986’s Aliens made an appearance in an episode of The Mandalorian‘s Second Season.
