Christmas is only 5 months away! Today we are celebrating Christmas in July!
This is a fun craft that you can do with your kids, of course only an adult should use the hot glue gun. But it’s fun to think of some different words, or character names to use to make these!
Here’s what you will need:
- Scrabble type tiles or letter tiles
- 1 inch ribbon to 2 inch ribbon
- 1/8 inch ribbon or cording
- Decorative accent ribbons
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
Here’s what you do.
- Choose your word or name and select the tiles.
- Measure the ribbon to allow for all the tiles and 1.5-2 inches extra at the top and however much you would like to leave at the bottom.
- Cut a 5-6 inch long piece of 1/8 inch ribbon. Tie ends together to form a circle.
- fold the top of the ribbon to the back of the piece, about 3/4 of an inch down.
- Put the circle of ribbon through the fold and glue it down to form loop to attach to the tree.
- Glue down the scrabble tiles
- Add decorative accents, bows or ribbons.
Here’s an example of a completed version of one from Crafty Morning.

You can use the traditional type of words or go for fun Disney ones.
Choose ribbons that reflect colors for a certain character.
Have fun with it!
