Child Enters Restricted Sonny Eclipse Animatronic Area For Photos

It appears that a child entered the restricted area for Sonny Eclipse at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland. The restaurant located in the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World has an animatronic lounge performer called Sonny Eclipse.

Somehow, the child got up on stage and was messing around with the animatronic and the piano. Thankfully, it was shut down by the time she started messing with it.

It appears the child was accompanied by a woman who was standing outside the area, offstage.

When security approaches the child is presumably told to get down, while a woman quickly puts something away. According to the original poster @fortiffany on TikTok, the mother told her to get up there for a photo.

Let’s have a discussion

Entitled parents, stop it!  You’re getting your children in trouble for one. This behavior will likely lead to new rules or cost experiences to avoid your bad behavior and lawsuits.

Watch your kids and do not tell your children to do things like this for your special photo. Do better!

I should also add that social media “influencers” who also do stuff like this need to knock off their BS as well.

The comments seem to agree!

…and this is why we can’t have nice things.” – Melissa J. Braunstein

This is the third video this week. I’ve seen kids in areas at Disneyland that they’re not very obviously supposed to be in…what is with parents nowadays?!?” -WonderlandGirl79

The problem with the ticket prices being so high is people feel entitled to everything. Poor Sonny. Teach your kids to be better people.” – Karaline

Mama, what in the happiest place of earth is wrong with you?! You got yourself and your kid in big trouble, maybe banned from Disney!” – Carsontheimmortal

“Nowadays the parents let their children do whatever they want. A few times I see them let their children climb up to touch Nemo and his friends figures by Nemo & Friends and multiple times I have to tell them to not climb and all.” – Melissa Householder

Yes to this!  I have seen this happen at “Nemo and Friends”, too.  I’ve also seen them trying to scale the walls in the queue for the “Journey of the Little Mermaid” as well.

Parents, watch your children and definitely don’t put them in harm’s way or get them in trouble for a photo!

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
