Cast Members Recreate the Beloved ‘Great Movie Ride’ and It’s A Lot of Fun!

Many of us are still a bit salty that Disney retired ‘The Great Movie Ride” on August 13, 2017. They didn’t give much notice for people to enjoy it one last time either, announcing it at D23 2017 in July and closing it quickly after.

Replacing “The Great Movie Ride” is ‘Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway’ and don’t get me wrong, it’s cute, but it’s not “The Great Movie Ride.”

Here comes some heroes to “bring back” the popular attraction in their own way. Previous ‘Great Movie Ride’ Cast Members have taken the time to recreate the ride with both the bandit and gangster versions and it’s hilariously fantastic. They even recreated the movie reels you watched in the queue!

Once A Movie Rider on YouTube posted the videos.
