This one does not have a sound chip, but from the write-up it seems he’s larger than other plushies so that could be why he’s $53.

The size listed is 12 inches, so I’m assuming he’s longer since the Boba Fett bear stands at 17″ for only $36.
The Loth Cat is 11″ tall and has sounds and it is only $38 so I’m assuming the Bantha must be a lot larger to warrant that price with no sounds.
It is weird that his face is like a bear face, because that isn’t how bantha’s look, but it makes sense given the store.
