Breast Milk Ice Cream — Is It Real?

Yes. Breast Milk Ice Cream is a real thing, but it’s not made with human breast milk.

A company that sells supplies for parents and parents-to-be, Frida, and a small-batch ice cream company, OddFellows, has created a limited run of breast milk-flavored ice cream.

These are being sold in pints to be shipped throughout the nation.

Don’t worry it isn’t real human breast milk.

It’s actually made from: “milk, heavy cream, skim milk powder, sugar, dextrose, egg yolks, invert sugar, guar gum, salted caramel flavoring, honey syrup, liposomal bovine colostrum, yellow food color, 0.1% propylparaben (preservative), and FD&C Red 40.

Frida says it tastes “sweet, a little salty, smooth, with hints of honey and sprinkles of colostrum, and features a distinct colostrum yellow tinge.

Just writing that makes me a bit nauseous.

Breast milk ice cream sells for $12.99 per pint, and you must buy two pints minimum.

Curious ice cream fans can order now and orders will begin shipping on August 11, 2025 via two-day shipping.

Currently, it is listed as “Out of Stock,” but it says to check back tomorrow for more.

Don’t want to buy two pints? Missed out on the chance to purchase?
You can still get a scoop at a Pop-Up event in Brooklyn.

You can get a scoop at the Frida Breast Milk Ice Cream Pop Up in Brooklyn, NY (44 Water Street in Dumbo). But we’re also offering a limited run for national shipping through August 10, 2025. So latch on fast!”

Free scoops will be offered from noon and 1 PM on August 10.

If you ever wanted to know what breast milk is like in an ice cream form, now is your chance.

I’m going to pass.
