“Bluey” Will Be Added To Disney Cruise Lines, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland in 2025!

“Bluey” Comes to Life at Disney Parks, Cruise Line, and Beyond in Major Disney-BBC Studios Deal

Beloved animated pup Bluey is heading to Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and the big screen! Here’s what families can expect from this exciting new partnership between The Walt Disney Company and BBC Studios.

The hit animated series Bluey will soon become part of Disney’s immersive experiences, including Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line. Beginning in January 2025, guests will be able to interact with Bluey and her sister Bingo on select Disney cruises, with theme park activations coming later in 2025.

Disney Cruise Line Adventures Begin in 2025

Starting January 2025, guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line from Australia and New Zealand will be the first to experience interactive Bluey-themed entertainment.

Activities will include:

  • Character Meet-and-Greets: Families can meet Bluey and her sister Bingo on board.
  • Interactive Games: Fun, family-friendly activities inspired by the series.
  • Dance Parties: Dance along to Bluey’s iconic moves at special onboard events.

Additional details on Bluey-themed experiences at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are expected to be announced later.

A Global Entertainment Expansion

The new partnership between Disney and BBC Studios goes beyond theme parks and cruises. Disney has acquired global theatrical rights to an upcoming Bluey feature film, set for release in 2027. The film will be produced by Ludo Studio in collaboration with BBC Studios and distributed globally under Disney’s banner.

After its theatrical release, the movie will stream exclusively on Disney+. In Australia, the film will also be available on ABC iview and ABC Kids following its theatrical run.

A Global Phenomenon
Since its debut, Bluey has become a cultural phenomenon and one of the most-watched shows in the world, available in over 140 countries!
In 2024, it ranked as the #1 most-watched series globally on Disney+ and the #1 streaming series in the U.S., with over 50.5 billion minutes watched.

The show has also earned major awards, including:

  • A 2024 Peabody Award
  • Consecutive Television Critics Association Awards in 2023 and 2024
Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, shared his excitement about bringing Bluey into the Disney family:

Ludo Studio, the studio behind the popular blue dog, said:

“’It’s a lovely day to go boat riding’ and we’re incredibly excited that Bluey and Bingo will be sailing on Disney Cruises, bringing Bluey’s magic to families on the high seas!”
