Chip’s teacup Loungefly costs $100 at Hollywood Studios, and its “tea” flap shows Belle when you tilt it. The cheapest 35th anniversary piece in the batch is a $4.49 Belle PEZ dispenser.
Chip finally got his own bag, and it costs $100.
A Chip Loungefly crossbody shaped like the little teacup from Beauty and the Beast is now at Mickey’s of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, WDWNT reported Saturday, Nov. 7. It’s the priciest of eight 35th anniversary pieces the site found in the park.
Disney’s Parks Blog showed the Chip bag in its 35th anniversary roundup on Nov. 4, with no price attached. Disney said the collection was “coming soon to Disney Store,” with select products “available now in Disney Parks.” A search of DisneyStore.com on Saturday didn’t turn up the Chip bag yet.
The bag is white with gold trim and sits on a lavender pedestal base. Chip’s face is embroidered, and a gold teacup handle doubles as his nose. The brown “tea” flap is lenticular, so Belle appears when you look at it from an angle. The lining is printed with Mrs. Potts and Chip.
Other new finds at Hollywood Studios include a $22.99 set of three journals, a $49.99 Artisan Soft Belle plush that Disney calls a parks exclusive, and a $4.49 Belle PEZ dispenser. Fandom, now in snack size.

-
World of Disney, Disney Springs: MickeyBlog found the cardigan, denim, tee, plush and Enchanted Mirror collectible there on Nov. 3, plus a $32.99 yellow cap.

When do the Beauty and the Beast 35th anniversary dolls come out?
Nov. 13 at 8 a.m. PT on DisneyStore.com, as we reported when Disney [revealed the limited edition Belle and Beast dolls](https://news.piratesandprincesses.net/p/beauty-and-the-beast-35th-anniversary). Belle is an edition of 4,600, and the Beast is an edition of 2,050. Disney still hasn’t posted prices, and WDWNT says parks will get them “soon.”
That date is a nice touch. Beauty and the Beast opened at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre on Nov. 13, 1991, so the dolls drop 35 years to the day.
Loungefly has its own wave coming Nov. 20 on Loungefly.com, per the Parks Blog: a Belle cameo mini backpack, a rose crossbody with a 3D rose, mystery box pins and a card holder.
Why is Beauty and the Beast turning 35 now?
The movie took the scenic route to theaters. Disney screened an unfinished version at the New York Film Festival on Sept. 29, 1991, with about 70 percent of the animation done.
It opened at the El Capitan on Nov. 13 and went nationwide on Nov. 22, 1991. That makes Nov. 22, 2026, the big anniversary date.
It became the first animated film nominated for best picture at the Oscars. It lost to The Silence of the Lambs, a very different kind of beast.
