Reports indicate that a fifth person has died at the Walt Disney World Resort, this time at Saratoga Springs.
The news once again came via the @WDWActiveCrime account on Twitter.

Changed to: Dead Person

What started out as a “Person Down” became “Dead Person.”
This is the fifth deceased person at Walt Disney World in less than a month. No cause of death has been reported.
Four other deaths
Since October 14, four other people have passed away at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
The first death of 31-year-old Summer Equitz at the Contemporary Resort was ruled a suicide.
A man in his 60s died shortly after, but that one was ruled as natural causes.
On October 23, 2025, 23-year-old Matthew Cohn jumped from the 12th floor of Bay Lake Tower and died of suicide.
A week ago, on November 2, 2025, a woman in her 40s passed away at the Pop Century Resort. No foul play was suspected.
While health emergencies and deaths do happen at the Walt Disney World Resort, there does seem to be a larger number of them recently. Given that the resort is the size of a city, it’s inevitable.
