People do not like the musical choice for the trailer, though.

The first season was released in the summer of 2022, and it was met with a lower viewership; however, those who watched the show mostly enjoyed the show.

Season 2 will be different

Season 2 will have 12 episodes, but the show will take place over four years, with three episodes dedicated to each year. The final three episodes will lead into the opening scene of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

A “year” of time, or three episodes, will drop every week.

April 22, 2025 – Episodes 1-3
April 29, 202 – Episodes 4-6
May 6, 2025 – Episodes 7-9
May 13, 2025 – Episodes 10-12

Here is the synopsis for Season 2:

“Season 2 will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.”

A new poster was also released.

Diego Luna is returning as Cassian Andor along with Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, and Adria Arjona. Alan Tudyk will be in the show as K-2SO, and Ben Mendelsohn will be in the second series as Krennic from “Rogue One.”
