Walt Disney World has a few major construction projects going on in three of its four theme parks. Today we are going to take a look at the construction on Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s new Tropical Americas section which will include Encanto.
Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X we have some aerial images showcasing the progress.
Let’s take a look!
Land overview,
The Tropical Americas section of the park is going in where Dinoland U.S.A. was. Construction has begun in this area, but other parts will not be completed until Dinosaur and Restrauntosaurus closes in February.

Two attractions are being added to the area, including a carousel and the house from “Encanto.”

Here is a look at construction on the carousel.

A carousel will be at the footers at center. Originally part of The Boneyard playground.

RIP the Boneyard. That was something my daughter loved when she was little. We spent a lot of time there.
