Disney is expanding its Adventures by Disney lineup in 2027 with new and upgraded European itineraries, including a brand-new Munich Escape experience and an enhanced Rhine River cruise packed with Disney-inspired storytelling.
Both additions are part of Adventures by Disney’s growing collection of guided land and river journeys designed for families and travelers who want immersive cultural experiences—with a little extra Disney magic woven in.
New 2027 Itinerary: Munich Escape (3 Days)
One of the biggest additions for 2027 is the three-day Munich Escape, which can be booked either as a stand-alone land itinerary or as an extension to a Danube River cruise.
A major highlight is a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, widely known as the inspiration for Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World.
The Munich Escape also includes hands-on cultural experiences, such as a workshop where guests can make traditional German treats, plus a celebratory stop at a centuries-old brewery, where travelers can toast their adventure.
Adventures by Disney Enhances Its 2027 Rhine River Cruise
Adventures by Disney is also refreshing its Rhine River cruise itinerary for 2027 with new stops and themed elements—especially for Disney fans who love when travel overlaps with movie history and inspiration.
A new featured visit includes Eguisheim, a picturesque town in France’s Alsace region that served as inspiration for Belle’s village in Beauty and the Beast. Travelers can see landmarks connected to the film’s visual influence, including the Saint-Leon fountain in the castle square. The itinerary also includes a stop at the “Pigeonair” monument, which is noted as the model for Belle’s house.
The Disney storytelling continues onboard as well, with a Beauty and the Beast-inspired dinner menu served during the cruise.
Optional 2027 Additions: Lucerne and a UNESCO Bike Excursion
Another new enhancement to the Rhine sailing includes an optional full-day excursion to Lucerne, Switzerland. Guests can also choose a bike ride to Neuf-Brisach, a fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
More Flexibility in Amsterdam for 2027
The 2027 itinerary will also add more flexible scheduling in Amsterdam, offering guests the choice to either:

take a scenic cruise, and/or

visit Zaanse Schans, a preserved Dutch village
For younger travelers, Junior Adventurers will have a hands-on activity where they can decorate wooden clogs. Both Amsterdam excursions will be offered in the morning and afternoon, giving guests more freedom to explore the city independently.
