We haven’t checked in on the Tron Coaster construction progress in awhile and as luck would have it @bioreconstruct on Twitter has some great new images. (If you haven’t followed them on Twitter I highly recommend you do!)
If you haven’t been following along, the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland is getting a new Tron Coaster currently scheduled for opening around the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. This new coaster is going in behind Space Mountain.
Let’s take a look at the progress!

I’m really excited to see this completed! Keep in mind that it seems to be progressing quickly, but it’s still a ways off from completion.
We are expecting to hear more information this weekend at D23 in Anaheim, CA. Stay tuned for a lot of news this week and this weekend!
Again, if you would like to keep up with construction progress follow @bioreconstruct on Twitter. They are an amazing resource to keep up with all the changes and new work going on in Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando!
What do you think? Are you excited about the new Tron coaster coming to Walt Disney World for the 50th Anniversary? Comment and let us know!
