Barbie Goes Classic Star Wars for Gorgeous Special Edition Dolls

Yesterday Mattel announced that pre-orders are up for three new special edition Barbie Dolls based on Original Trilogy Star Wars concept art.

These new dolls are called “Star Wars X” dolls and they are truly beautiful!

Star Wars X Princess Leia Barbie – $100

  • The Star Wars x Barbie collaboration is an homage to Star Wars: A New Hope.
  • This eponymous collection, inspired by the film’s original concept art, re-imagines iconic characters through a distinctive Barbie high-fashion filter.
  • This collectible Star Wars x Barbie doll captures Princess Leia’s iconic look in an elegant gown with dramatic, floor-length sleeves.
  • Details include a silvery peplum belt, cuff jewelry and an up-do inspired by her signature bun hairstyle.

I like her C3-PO purse!

These dolls are gorgeous and I love that they based them off of the concept art from the original Star Wars Trilogy (which is my favorite!)

Dolls are on pre-order right now with a release date of November 18, 2019!
